Upgrading the Decor in your Airbnb

If you feel as though the decor in your Airbnb property is lacking a little bit, then the first thing you need to do is try to find a way to do something about that. This guide will help you to make the right changes so you can make more money from each stay, while ensuring your guests are satisfied with the overall service they have been given.

Know who you are Targeting

One of the main things you need to do is take the time to know who it is you are targeting. You need to know who it is you are trying to attract, and you also need to know whether it is a trendy city photo spot or whether you are opting for a country escape. Make sure that you tailor your decor as well as your taste so that it suits the needs of your target audience every single time. If you can do this then you will find it easier than ever to meet their needs, while making sure that you’re not missing out on anything essential that could hurt your image down the line. Know your exact guest, and create a space that you feel as though appeals to them, to start with. You then need to relate every single decision you make back to this image that you have made, as it will get you the result you need.

Know your Neutrals

Another thing you need to do is know your neutrals. You need to know that neutrals often create a timeless backdrop, and if you allow the incorporation of them, then this will help you to avoid the space being overwhelmed. You can add pops of colour by incorporating accent spaces, and you can also try to look into things like throw pillows and rugs if you want. You can then add some artwork if you feel as though you’d like a bit more of a vibrant touch.

Get some Nice Bedding

Without nice bedding, your Airbnb won’t feel as good as it could. A comfortable bed is not really negotiable if you want to make sure that you have happy guests. Crisp linens, as well as cosy bedding will ensure that your guests sleep well. Remember that a rested guest is a happy guest, and they are also much more likely to leave you a five-star review as well, so if you can keep this in mind, it will help you a lot later down the line. You do not need to spend a small fortune here, but you do need to make sure that you’re not ignoring quality when paying for things. If you can do this, you’re bound to get a good result overall.

Put Functionality First

Another thing you need to do is try and put functionality first. If you know that your Airbnb is a little short on space, then investing in some multi-functional furniture is usually a good thing to do. Think about getting some foldable tables as well as some sofa beds. If you can do this, then you can accommodate way more guests, and you can also enhance the practicality for your guests. You will also be able to keep your pace feeling stunning, which is great to say the least.

Murals and Wallpaper

If you want people to book your Airbnb online, then the best thing you can do is consider using wallpaper and murals. You can find vast collections of murals online, along with wallpaper, too. This means you can give your Airbnb a really unique edge, without having to worry about how you are going to tie everything together. As long as you make sure that your mural is the same style or the same colour as what you have right now, then you should find that it is easier than ever for you to blend things, which is great.

Local Touches

Adding some more local touches is a great way for you to make sure that your Airbnb is being brought together properly. If you want to get the best result out of your investment. Infuse some local artwork from artists, or even try to give the person who is staying with you a gift basket full of goodies, which could come from a local bakery or somewhere else similar. If you can do this, then you will find that it is easier than ever for you to make sure that you’re not overlooking the small things that will make a big difference to you later down the line.

Dedicated Workspaces

Another good thing to do would be to offer dedicated workspaces. Almost everyone is working remotely in this day and age, so one of the best things you can do to try to support people would be to provide them with a desk, a chair, and a lamp. This is a very small investment on your behalf, but for the person who is staying with you, it can be major. You may even find that it helps to be an invaluable resource for your guests, which is exactly what you want to be offering. Don’t forget to give them the WiFi password as well, as this is a good way for you to make sure that you’re not only setting them up, but also making sure that the experience for them is as smooth as possible.

Avoid Clutter

Another good thing to do would be to try to avoid clutter. Being budget-conscious has its place, but if you focus on things like budget too much, then you may find that your guests notice this. If you want to avoid that, then make sure that you are investing in quality furniture and that you are also doing what you can to support your guests and their well-being. This is a great way for you to make sure that you are really making sure that they are at ease, while stopping you from having to replace furniture all the time.
