If you have been searching for authorized American Heart Association (AHA) training centers, you might have found that there are a lot of them. Sometimes when faced with a whole load of choice we end up shutting down because there is simply too much information to process. So, if you’re a medical professional and you are looking at where the best place to take courses is, we wanted to help. Or, if you’re a member of the general public who wants to be well educated in the art of first aid, you’re also able to take these courses.

You want to make sure that you’re working with the best provider, and that can sometimes be tough but we’ve narrowed it down for you. We’ve been through so that we could compile a list of the very best in the US, and that’s what we’re going to be talking about today. Ready to find out what they are?

Safety Training Seminars

First up on the list we’re going to be looking at Safety Training Seminars. One of the best parts about this is that they are the best for offering American Heart Association CPR and BLS certification courses on every day of the week. You won’t find many other providers who are open every single day of the week to ensure that they are flexible and open for those people who want to take courses but are perhaps low on time.

With over 70 offices, this woman owned business has taken the industry by storm over the years that they have been in operation, ensuring that they cater to as many people as possible. Providing high quality is the goal of this business, so you can be sure that you will leave their courses feeling as though you really got your money’s worth. The speed and depth of their courses are excellent, ensuring that everyone feels comfortable with what has been taught.

However, while there are so many offices, the company is largely based in California so if you’re not from there then this might not be the best suited to you. The reason for this is because finding the right trainer is important, and for a lot of people location is a factor here. As well as this, if you book and have to reschedule you could have to pay a fee to be able to do this.

CPR123

CPR123 offers both classroom and online courses for healthcare professionals, giving people the choice as to what works best for them and their learning style. They offer all of the qualifications you would expect from an AHA training center, and are a leading provider of these courses in both New York and Texas. The general public are also able to take basic CPR and a few other courses to ensure that they are ready in any given situation.

The company is praised as fantastic by previous clients, they have incredible reviews raving about their customer service and the content of their classes. The required skills testing is also important as it helps to reaffirm that what has been taught is able to be applied practically rather than just in theory.

Some people don’t like the fact that there may be a fee for a textbook on top of the fee for the course. There is also the reliance on self-motivation for the online part of the course, some people may find that tough.

With a dedication to quality and top notch instructors, APHE is known throughout the US medical industry as one of the leading training centers. With a heavy focus on ensuring that learners feel happy and supported through their journey, APHE have been able to achieve incredible results, providing certifications to many throughout the medical industry and the general public.

The only downside is that some students have reported that they would have liked more experiences to apply critical thinking and what they have learned.

Lifework Education

With a wide range of programs and renowned staff on their side, Lifework Education is there to help those who want to get started in their healthcare career. Offering variety in order to cater to as many people as possible, this company has ensured that it’s there to support as many as they can, providing excellent customer support to all of their students.

You can take either individual or group training which is not an option that every company offers you, so that’s a huge bonus for some people.

Some people have found that due to the fact that there is no orientation, it can be hard to be thrown into the deep end as it were. If you have no prior training, it can be tough to hit the ground running.

ERTSS

Having been a training center for the past 25 years, ERTSS has had time to hone their classes and courses, ensuring that they offer nothing less than the best. They offer a decent variation of courses, while not as many as some other providers, and work with those in all 50 states. You can complete your courses in the traditional classroom, or through a blended learning program that works better for some people depending on their circumstances.

There have been some reports in the past of the prices being too high and the support not being as good as other companies are providing. However, that’s not to say that there is no support, as others have said that they have had wonderful experiences when asking for help.

Whatever training center you choose to use, you need to ensure that you have done your research and you’re sure that it is the right one for you. Any of the options on this list are fantastic for completing courses that have been approved by the AHA, but it still comes down to personal preference in the end. Now that you’ve got the information, you can either make a decision or complete some further research – whatever you want.
